Introduction to Colored Pencil Flower Drawing

Discover the beauty of botanical illustration through the delicate and expressive medium of colored pencils. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of flower drawing, including basic sketching techniques, color layering, blending, light and shadow, and creating depth and texture.

Whether you’re completely new to drawing or looking to refine your skills, this class will guide you step by step as you create vibrant, lifelike floral artwork in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Perfect for: Beginners and anyone who enjoys flowers, nature, and creative relaxation.

Materials need to prepare by student : 48-72 pieces oil base Colored pencils, letter size drawing paper, eraser, pencil, and a blending tool. 

Students may not bring guests when attending open studio hours for the duration of their 6-week course.

Make-up Policy: We don't recommend missing any classes in our Intro course because each week builds on the previous week's instruction. Be sure to check your calendar ahead of time to avoid missing any classes and falling behind. Our courses tend to be fully booked, so we are not able to accommodate requests to switch days to make up missed classes.
