Ceramic porcelain, 2026 48''x48''x96''
Resource extraction leads to disappearance. Wars and unequal distribution accelerate this loss, yet human perception often remains selective—we tend to see only what we want to see.
Water is used as a central reference point. While we invest heavily in purification technologies, we rarely question how we waste the clean water that was so difficult to obtain. In many parts of the world, access to clean water remains unequal and fragile.
As a ceramic artist, I work with materials directly sourced from the earth. Porcelain—refined yet resource-dependent—embodies this tension. The work reflects on how creation itself is tied to extraction, and asks how we might act with greater responsibility before what we depend on disappears.
